ASSEMBLIES of God of Fiji pastors, workers and members were challenged to take risks in their walk with God and make bold moves into the unknown.
General secretary of the AOG of the US Reverend Dr James Bradford, in opening the 38th Biennial General Conference of the AOG Fiji on Sunday night, told the congregation to approach God with freedom and confidence.
AOG Fiji general superintendent Reverend Pita Cili shared the same sentiment saying Christians would move forward if they were risk-takers.
"We need to take risks to build the work of God, without taking risks you are not moving by faith," Mr Cili said.
"We are challenged not to look at ourselves and not to underestimate ourselves but to look to God and move into the unknown as God leads."
Meanwhile, minutes of the last two years conference and reports were tabled with the general superintendent's report when the conference started on Monday .
Financial statements and the church's operations budget were also tabled.
The conference continues today at the Central Christian Centre church in Nausori.
It will end with the ordination of new pastors on Friday night.
