THREE people accused of urging political violence have denied the charges brought against them by the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Businesswoman Dr Mere Samisoni, Apete Vereti and Semisi Lasike pleaded not guilty to the charges before Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili at the Suva Magistrates Court yesterday morning.
Dr Samisoni's lawyer Samanunu Vaniqi informed the court she would apply for voir dire.
However, she said she would need more time because she had some difficulty in communicating with her overseas counsel.
Mr Lasike's lawyer told the court he did not have the full disclosures because his client's file was missing.
The matter has been adjourned to September 16.
