SUVA City Council special administrator Chandu Umaria is challenging commercial banks, large corporate organisations and retail and manufacturing companies to support the Vodafone Hibiscus Festival in the future.
Mr Umaria said it was disappointing to note that some of these organisations were not supportive of this charitable festival.
"Hibiscus is the best time to promote your esteemed organisations and companies and extend contributions towards the charity funds which are distributed to so many underprivileged individuals and organisations," Mr Umaria said.
"It is very sad to see that there are no sponsors of contestants from the commercial banks, large corporate organisations and big retail and manufacturing companies."
He is calling on them to consider partnering with the Hibiscus Festival and help give back to the needy.
