THE Seaqaqa Festival committee has assured the public of yet another bigger and better event next year.
With about 5000 people attending this year's event, the committee has planned to include more activities come next year.
The committee raised about $24,000 at the three-day festival that ended over the weekend.
Festival co-ordinator Mohammed Aruf Khan said they received confirmed sponsors for next year's event.
"Plans are in progress to host a bigger festival next year," Mr Khan said.
"This year, our aim is to build a double-storey building for our children at Seaqaqa Central College and we are very happy to raise such an amount for the proposed project.
"We will include more activities such as amusement rides, sports and entertainment to name a few."
Mr Khan thanked the Seaqaqa community for making this year's event a successful one.
