POLICE are once again reminding parents to take better care of their children at the Hibiscus Festival.
This after 15 children were found wandering at Albert Park since the start of the Hibiscus Festival last Friday.
Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said children also needed to know of how they could contact their parents if they got separated at the park.
"We are also requesting parents to talk to their children before they leave home and ensure their children are well versed with their contact details as with some cases, the child is often unaware of how they can contact them," Ms Naisoro said.
"This is not an issue with young children, however, we have come across a few cases where those in their early teens are not aware of their parents' contact."
She said though all children were safely united with their parents and guardians, there was still a need for better supervision at the festival.
