THE Abdul Zaman-coached Nasinu team needs a draw against Dreketi today to clinch the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants premier title at Govind Park in Ba.
This is after Nasinu came from behind to down Bua 2-1 in the round-robin match yesterday.
Veteran Laisiasa Vosailagi once again proved to be the savior for the Nasinu team when he scored the decisive goal after coming off the bench in the second spell.
Bua led 1-0 at the break. Nasinu's other goal was scored by Kaushik Kumar.
Zaman expressed disappointment with the narrow win.
He said they left it too late.
Zaman said they took their opponents lightly.
"We just need a draw now to win the title but I'm disappointed with the overall performance of the boys against Bua," Zaman said.
"They took them very lightly in the first half and we were down by a goal.
"We came back in the second half. Laisiasa was outstanding as an impact player and he scored once again."
Vosailagi struck twice in the 5-0 win over Lami on Friday.
The side will face Dreketi at 11am.
In the other match yesterday, Lami upset Dreketi 1-0.
Navinesh Chand scored the lone goal in the 27th minute.
Lami will face Bua at 9am today.
