SERU Rabeni and Ilai Tinai helped Nasolo Young Boys clinch the Burebasaga District School bazaar 7s tournament.
The side defeated Sacred Heart 26-24 in the final at the school ground in Rewa yesterday.
Tournament organiser Jone Turaganiqali said the former national reps featured strongly for their team and showed glimpses of some exciting rugby.
He was pleased with the turnout of the teams, hailing the day-long tournament a success.
"Having national players playing in our tournament is a big boost for us. It inspires upcoming players and also gives people an opportunity to meet them," Turaganiqali said.
"The tournament was well organised and we thank all teams for taking part. We are expecting a better outing next year."
Nasolo Young Boys overcame Seniboro 22-12 while Sacred Heart defeated Alford Bulls 14-5 in the semi-finals.
In the quarters, the Setefano Cakau-coached Tabadamu lost to Seniboro 17-12, Nasolo Young Boys defeated Salato Young Boys 14-0, Alford Bulls overcame Fiji Shangri-La 12-10 and Barbarians lost to Sacred Heart 7-12.
