SUPER sub Laisiasa Vosailagi guided Nasinu to a 5-0 win over Lami in the premier division Battle of the Giants championships in Ba yesterday.
The former national rep came off the bench in the second spell to score twice.
Nasinu dominated the game in the second half after a slow start.
Lack of finishing was Lami's downfall as they squandered their chances.
Nasinu coach Abdul Zaman said the technical changes after the break laid the platform for their big win.
He said they had prepared well for this tournament.
"It is a bright start and this time we are very much prepared," Zaman said.
"But we will take each game as they come.
"In the first half the boys were a bit shaky. But at half time I talked to them.
"I made a technical change sending in Laisiasa. He is an experienced player and made an instant impact to score the first goal.
"We are playing in a round robin format so this win counts a lot.
"We still need to work on our midfield area."
Vosailagi scored in the 54th and 81st minute.
Nathan Kumar netted in the 74th minute, Osea Lautiki scored in the 85th minute while Kaushik Kumar sealed the win in the 90th minute.
