SAXOPHONIST Darryl Bryson hopes to inspire young musicians in the country to take up wind instruments when he appears at the Corona Fiji Musicians Reconnect Tour on Saturday.

Bryson, who flew into the country on Tuesday along with George Knight and the Shankaran brothers — Bobby and Johnny, has played alongside all the local greats in a career that has spanned four decades.

The Corona Fiji Musicians Reconnect Tour kicks off at the Royal Suva Yacht Club this Saturday at 5pm. Tickets for the event are $25 and all proceeds will go towards the St Giles patients' comfort fund.

Event co-organiser and member of the Sydney Fijian Musicians Association, Lawrence Foon, said everyone was hyped up and looking forward to the show.
