Life in jail for murderer

Update: 2:14PM BIMLESH Prakash Dayal has been jailed for life by the High Court in Suva for the murder of his wife and two young daughters.

Judge Justice Paul Madigan dished out the sentence a short while ago and ordered that Dayal serve 20 years before he is eligible for parole.

Last week, Justice Madigan concurred with the three assessors guilty verdict for the crime that was committed between October 28 and October 29, 2011 at their family home in Vatuwaqa.
