3rd suspect in Labasa murder

Update: 12:00PM THE third suspect in the murder of a man in Labasa has been arrested by police.

Police spokesman Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said two suspects were in police custody under interrogation while the third suspect is admitted at Labasa Hospital under police guard.

Insp Sokomuri said the deceased person's body was at the Labasa Hospital mortuary awaiting a post mortem.

The incident happened in Naleba on Friday night after the deceased was allegedly drinking with his two brothers.

The deceased is survived by his wife and three small children.
