TROPICAL disturbance 20F will not develop into a tropical cyclone.

This was confirmed by the Nadi weather office yesterday.

According to duty forecasters, the tropical disturbance was located to the south of Fiji and had been gradually moving away from the group.

Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure is over the group causing rainy weather in most parts of the country.

Forecasters said the rainy conditions were expected to ease within the next few days.

According to the weather office, rain will ease from tomorrow as the tropical depression moves away from the country.

No flash flood or strong wind warning was issued by the weather office but mariners should expect winds of 15 to 20 knots.

The weather office said conditions would improve for most parts of the country.
