Update: 1:04PM ENGLAND rugby coach Ben Ryan says they need to bounce back in today's games to maintain their chances of making the quarter-finals at the Hong Kong Sevens.
This was after the English were thumped 28-7 by Samoa in their opening game last night.
Ryan said Samoa was the best team from the kick-offs.
"I thought the Samoans were absolutely outstanding in the first half. There's a reason why they are the best team to win kick-offs in the world. They really took the game from us by winning two or three kick-offs and gained a good positive outcome from it," Ryan told Times Sport after the game.
"We need to win our next two games to stand our chances of making the quarter-finals," he said.
England plays Scotland at 2.48pm (Fiji time) before taking on Portugal in their final pool match.
