Update: 3:18PM THE National Fire Authority is concerned with the 27 property fires that it has attended to in the country so far this year.
And it has again urged people to discuss fire safety with their families at home.
NFA chief executive officer John O'Connor said there was a need for every family to practice fire safety at home.
"If your house or building ever catches fire, your family members need to know what to do," he said.
The latest property fire was recorded at Tuatua in Labasa earlier this week, causing an estimated damage of $20,000.
