LANKY Leone Nakarawa is relishing challenge of defending the Hong Kong 7s title at the Hong Kong Stadium today.

Fiji takes on Hong Kong in their opening pool match tonight and Nakarawa believes the pressure is on the team to perform.

While he was honoured to be recalled into the team, the Ra man and Flying Fijians lock said it was not an assignment for the faint-hearted

"It is not an easy task for me when now I am being recalled into the team. I maybe happy but at the same time I am realising the huge responsibility that comes with it," the Fijian soldier said.

"We are the defending champions and it is a huge task to go there and defend the title."

Nakarawa will make his debut in Hong Kong along with eight players in Jasa Veremalua, Benito Eremasi, Samisoni Viriviri, Sakiusa Gavidi, Jone Vota, Emosi Mulevoro, Donasio Ratubuli and Ulaiasi Lawavou.

"I think the pressure is on us to perform because there are a lot of new players in the team who will be making their first outing in Hong Kong.

"I will just play my role in the forwards and try and help the team retain the Hong Kong title," he told Times Sport.

Fiji plays its opening pool game at 9.06pm.
