THE Hong Kong Rugby Football Club will make a special presentation to Fiji's sevens legend Waisale Serevi tomorrow at the Hong Kong stadium tomorrow.

It is believed that the International Rugby Board will also induct Serevi into its Hall of Fame for his contributions towards the sport.

Serevi, who graced the mecca of 7s with his uncanny rugby skills in the early 1990s, has been travelling to schools in Hong Kong conducting coaching clinics and promoting his Serevi brand with former England skipper Ben Gollings and Argentina speedster Santiago Gómez Cora.

Hong Kong tournament organiser Sean Moore said they would recognise Serevi's contribution.

"Yes, the Hong Kong Football Club will present something special to Serevi on Saturday (tomorrow) and I think it is something big," he said.

"Serevi has done a lot in the promotion of this tournament. We will recognise his efforts with this presentation."

The presentation will be done on day two of the tournament.

Last night Serevi was hosted to a special dinner.

The Gau magician has won two Rugby World Cup Sevens and has led Fiji to several victories in the HSBC Sevens World Series.

He guided Fiji to win their first-ever sevens series in 2005/06 as a coach/player, making Fiji the first country apart from New Zealand to win the series.
