CONTINUOUS rainfall over the past few weeks has slowed down external repair works at sugar mills in the Western Division.
However, FSC executive chairman Abdul Khan says since the wet weather has recently begun to clear, engineers and repair crew have resumed outdoor work.
"All repairs and maintenance works are progressing extremely well," he said. "We had to slow down outside work due to the inclement weather but this has since picked up momentum with the rain clearing over the past few days."
