Update: 4:52PM DEFENDING Hong Kong 10s champions BGC APB All Stars have crashed out of the tournament.

The side, which boasts youngster Filipe Nakosi, crashed 5-7 to the HSBC Penguins in the cup quarter-final.

Nakosi dotted down six tries on day one of the tournament.

Nakosi joined the star-studded side coached by former All Blacks skipper Tana Umaga and was in spectacular form.

Linking up with 2005 International Rugby Boards Sevens player of the year Orene AiI, Seilala Mapusua, former All Blacks speedster Rico Gear and Flying Fijians openside flanker Mala Ravulo, Nakosi showed on day one that he is a rising star amongst the big names in his team.

He touched down four tries in the opening game against Rwanda for a 55-0 victory. And also he crossed the whitewash in their second game against Lloyd McDermott Warriors 26-12. A strong second half performance was enough for All Stars to pull a 10-0 win over Borrelli Walsh Australian Country in their final pool game on Wednesday night.

Nakosi scored a brilliant runaway try after a clever kick from AiI to touch down in the corner.

He said he was wanted to better his performance on day two but the Penguins cut short his stay on the ground.
