NZ team to beat

DEFENDING champions New Zealand will be the team to beat in the Oceania Football Confederation Under-20 playoffs which starts at Churchill Park in Lautoka this afternoon.

The Junior All Whites coached by Chris Milicich has a lot of experience including players who ply their trade in the English League and the Australian A League.

The star players in the Kiwi team include Max Crocombe (Oxford United-England), Luke Adams (Derby County-England), Cameron Howison (Burnley-England), Storm Roux (Perth Glory-Australian A League), Lois Fenton (Wellington Phoenix-Australian A League) and Tyler Boyd (Wellington Phoenix-Australian A League).

Majority of the other players in the squad feature in New Zealand Football's top flight, the ASB Premiership.

New Zealand team coach Chris Milicich said his side was ready to defend the title.
