VANUATU has rated Fiji as their biggest threat in the Oceania Football Confederation Under-20 playoffs.
The Vanuatu side is laced with experienced players with goalkeeper Seloni Iaruel and striker Jean Kaltack representing the country in the 2012 OFC Nations Cup.
Iaruel also attended a two-week trial with English premier league club Stoke City last year.
The team includes several players who were part of the Vanuatu team which finished second behind winner New Zealand during the 2011 OFC U17 playoffs.
In an OFC press statement Moise Poida said they had beaten the Fiji U20 team during the pool play and third and fourth place playoffs during the 2011 OFC U20 tournament in New Zealand.
"Fiji will be more of a threat to us compared with New Zealand," Poida said.
Vanuatu finished third in the last two editions of the OFC U20 playoffs.
