ALL schools in Fiji will start teaching financial education, exposing 197,000 students to new skills on how to better manage and invest money.
The Financial Education (FinED) Fiji Project involves the integration of personal money management and investment into the school curriculum from classes one to eight and forms three to six.
The Nadi Airport School is a pioneer Regional Financial Education Champion School and implemented the financial education curriculum in the classroom since May 2011.
UNDP deputy assistant administrator and deputy director for Asia Pacific Nicholas Rosellini, who made a surprise visit to the school on Tuesday, said he was impressed with the standard of education at the Nadi-based school after interacting with teachers and students involved.
