BUS drivers have been warned not to refuse passengers who board after paying fares through the new e-ticketing system.
The development follows notification by the Land Transport Authority that some drivers tried to sabotage the new system by refusing passengers who have cards and demanding money.
LTA spokesman Iliesa Sokia said passengers should not be refused entry in buses that had e-ticketing consoles, except for those with insufficient funds on their cards.
"Passengers have the full right to report the matter to the LTA and these drivers will be dealt with," said Mr Sokia.
