Update: 1:21PM THE Water Authority of Fiji is struggling to provide water in some parts of the country.
WAF chief executive officer Opetaia Ravai told a press conference in Suva this morning that this was because of an increasing demand for for water.
Mr Ravai said they presently had about 114,000 water connections serving some 700,000 people.
He said WAF was now developing its infrastructure to cater for the increasing demand.
