VILIAME Umu is closing on leader Jiten Prasad in the Southern Snooker League following his win over the weekend at Nausori Club.
The former Fiji number one defeated Sikeli Nawaqaliva in the final on Sunday to win the round six of the weekly competition.
The win puts Umu second on the rankings with 97 points while Jiten Prasad maintains his lead on 100 points.
Former national champion Deepak J Ram is on third with 95 points while Nawaqaliva is on fourth with 58 points.
The league organised by the Southern Division Billiards and Snooker Association is sponsored by Carz and Carz.
