THE Fiji 7s team has vowed to put in extra effort in a bid to defend the prestigious Hong Kong 7s title.
A confident captain Nemani Nagusa said the pressure on the team after the lackluster performance in the last leg would drive them to strive harder to get back on track in the HSBC Sevens World Series.
Nagusa said the players had good preparation and it was now time to deliver.
"The preparation has been good and the boys have been doing a lot of running to try to get the fitness level up," Nagusa said.
"So far we have enjoyed the training sessions and are looking forward to the tournaments ahead. Just like any other team we are going there to win."
"We will try and do our best to defend the title that we won last year. There is a lot of pressure on the team right now because we did not perform well recently."
"The boys know that there is a job to be done. We hope to give our 110 percent effort on the field."
