THE Fiji National Rugby League (FNRL) will run a series of coaching clinics in its effort to upskill the knowledge of sport at school and club level.
Former national reps Wise Kativerata and Josaia Dakuitoga will hold four clinics from April 3 to 6 which will cover the Viti Levu area.
Kativerata is a Australian Institute of Sports rugby league instructor while Rabele is the assistant Fiji Bati coach to the Rugby League World Cup this year.
FNRL general manager Tomi Finau said this was a one off opportunity for the local coaches to learn from the best.
Finau said they would be conducting a rugby league skills training program for all coaches from junior to club level around the country.
He said the sessions were also open to anyone who might wish to acquire some knowledge and insight on basic skills.
"This is a great opportunity where our local coaches can learn from two former National Rugby League players and internationally qualified coaches the basic inside techniques of professional coaching," Finau said.
"The training is open to all schools and club coaches and anyone who wants to upskill their knowledge in rugby league and coaching the sport."
