TWO second half goals from former Suva soccer rep Maciu Tuilau helped Nasinu to a 2-0 win over Tailevu Naitasiri yesterday.

The premier division game was the lone Fiji Sun/GP National Football League match this weekend as the other games were postponed in the Western Division.

The victory on their home turf at Rishikul College ground stretched Nasinu's lead at the top of the premier points table to where they stand with 12 points. They are also the only unbeaten side in the competition so far winning all their four matches.

Team director Pravin Singh commended his side for their efforts but expressed concern at the match officials saying the score could have been 3-0 if a goal was not disallowed.

"A clear goal was disallowed because the ball went through the net and the match officials called it a no goal," he said.

Tailevu Naitasiri coach Tagi Vonolagi, his players and team officials were threatened by angry Nasinu officials after the goal was disallowed.
