CELTROCK made a grand start in the Fiji Hockey Business House competition opening round of games that were played on Thursday night at the National Hockey Centre in Laucala, Suva.

The new-look side led by its managing director Zavir Khan held the defending champions Goodman Fielder to a scoreless draw to entice the upcoming rounds of games.

Fiji Hockey Federation development officer Tai Smith was pleased with the team's performance and praised the hard work of Khan.

"I am truly grateful to Zavir, who himself has taken out top scorer position two years in a row, bringing in these young men and women who have never played the sport before," Smith said.

Goodman Fielder managed to record a win in its other match beating two men down FNPF 3-0.

Smith said 14 teams were registered to battle in the weekly competition.
