A MAN who allegedly posted indecent photos of a local woman on the internet has been ordered not to leave the country until the case is completed.

High Court Judge Justice Salesi Temo gave the order to Zainal Haroon on Friday when he made his first appearance in the High Court in Suva. Mr Haroon is charged with three counts of rape. State lawyer Madonna Fong asked for time to file information and disclosures.

Justice Temo told Mr Haroon to fill in the High Court bail form as the Director of Public Prosecutions Office said it was not objecting to continuation of bail. The prosecution was advised by the court to let the Immigration Department know of this case.

Mr Haroon was granted a $5000 cash bail by Magistrate Chaitanya Latchman on March 5.

His application for name suppression was also rejected by Mr Latchman.

The case has been adjourned to April 12 for mention.
