Update: 4:53PM TO say Wales won the Six Nations title is an understatement to how the Red Dragons ended it.
Two tries to wing Alex Cuthbert at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium early this morning (Fiji time) ended in a record-breaking 30-3 victory.
Alex Cuthbert's two second-half
tries was the difference in a match the Welsh had to win by seven points to
retain the title for the first time since 1979.
The last biggest Welsh win over
England was a 25-0 margin in 1905.
ITALY 22 IRELAND 15
ROME
- Italy produced a breathtaking display to hand Ireland a 22-15 defeat in possibly Brian O'Driscoll's last game in an Irish shirt.
Italy
had started this campaign with a 23-18 victory over France and after
defeats to Scotland, England and Wales ended it with another deserved
win over one of the pre-tournament favourites.
It was Italy's fourth win over the Irish but first in the Six Nations. - AP
