FORMER national reps Tomasi Tiko and Charlie Clearing helped the Roosters avenge their loss in the semi-finals of last season against First Touch.
Roosters won the grudge match 7-5 yesterday at Toorak's Furnival Park. Veterans of the game, Tiko and Clearing inter-changed with younger players which allowed Roosters to stay in control of the match.
In another upset yesterday, newcomers Davui Magic edged Barbarians 6-4.
Fiji Touch Association president Georgina Lasaqa said no underdogs remained in the competition. She said all teams were threats to each other now and no teams could be taken lightly.
"Every team is determined to win and we can see this in the upsets that are recorded nearly every week. As for the Roosters, they are using experienced players like Tiko and Clearing to lead their young and upcoming players," she said.
