ONE text and he is flying out of the country to watch the Cathay Pacific HSBC Hong Kong Sevens tournament next Friday.
Sakiusa Yauraki, a University of the South Pacific student, has won himself a return ticket to Hong Kong after taking part in the Vodafone Fiji Text promotion.
Yauraki made his lucky text last Saturday to make use of the last dollar in his phone. With no intention of winning the promotion, Yauraki said he did it for the sake of taking part in the promotion.
"I was surprised when they called me and told me that I had won a trip to Hong Kong to watch the sevens tournament," a surprised Yauraki said.
"I had only one dollar in my phone so I decided to text and be part of the promotion last week Saturday," he told Times Sport yesterday.
The 22-year-old from Dreketi, Macuata will fly out next week with his brother to support the Digicel Fiji 7s team in action at Happy Valley.
"This is a lifetime trip for me to go and watch the Hong Kong 7s. I usually watch many rugby stars on television now I will actually be there and watch my favourite players with my own eyes," an elated Yauraki said.
"I regard myself as a lucky man because of this win."
He said he would support the Fiji team on the field.
"I am from Fiji and because the Fiji team is playing there in Hong Kong, I will support them whether they win or lose."
Yauraki flies out to Hong Kong next Thursday.
