TALENT, glamour, beauty and courage are what you need to become a contestant for the Hibiscus Festival.
These attributes were being pondered by aspiring young men and women as the contestant drive for the upcoming festival began at MHCC in Suva yesterday.
Chairperson for program entertainment, road show and float committee Puamau Bogiono said it was important to showcase talents.
"This is our fourth road show and we have seen a lot of interest from aspiring contestants," he said.
Mr Bogiono said the 2013 festival would be bigger than last year.
"We will have a better and improved standard and we are encouraging people to come out and show us their talents.
"We have received more than 50 applications for this year's contestant drive and still counting," he said.
The closing date for applications is March 28.
