THE first-ever soft indoor play centre for kids in Fiji was launched by Fun Factory at Port Denarau on Thursday.
Business manager Kristy Bavister said the idea for the play centre stemmed from what parents thought was lacking for kids in Fiji.
The idea was to create an attraction that was safe and enjoyable for children of all ages.
Ms Bavister said work on the soft play centre began last November.
"It's been some months but we are now officially launching this project," she said.
As a treat, children from the Treasure Home in Nadi were invited to enjoy the different attractions available. Ms Bavister said the play centre was for locals and tourists.
"What makes it more enjoyable and safe is the fact that there are no sharp edges and everything is covered with soft foam.
"The Fun Factory is the only activity completely dedicated to children. The play centre is air-conditioned and OHS certified."
