Update: 3:43PM THE Lelean Cowboys and RKS Eels under-19 challenge match during the Vodafone Cup Eastern zone competition was abandoned at the Veiuto grounds earlier today.
This after some Lelean spectators ran on to the field and joined their players to threaten RKS players with post pads.
Referee Kitione Tukana stopped the match in 29th minute and awarded it to the Eels which was leading 11-10.
Match commissioner Uraia Toribau said Lelean had been already warned last week for unacceptable behaviour from its fans.
