MANOJ Kumar has stepped down from his post as coach of the Navua soccer side.
Kumar confirmed to Times Sport of his decision but did not wish to comment on the issue.
"With respect to my beloved Reds and their fans, I wish not to comment in detail. There is more to this (the issue) than meets the eye," he said.
"However, I will follow the proper channel and wait for the right forum to tell all, for I do not wish to wash our dirty laundry in public.
"The fans need to know the truth and they will very soon, perhaps at the next council meeting, if given the chance.
"Until then my blessings are with the NFA, the new coach and the players for the rest of the season. My heart will always beat and bleed for Navua," Kumar said.
Navua Football Association president Faud Ali told fijifootball.com.fj the district needs a qualified coach to lead the team.
"We decided to do better for Navua soccer this year and we think Navua needs a qualified coach," Ali said.
He added they would be looking for a replacement soon.
