THE United Nations Development Programme's Human Development Report will be launched in Nadi next week.
The report will be launched by UNDP Deputy Assistant Administrator and Deputy Regional Director, Regional Bureau of Asia, Nicholas Rosellini.
The report is an independent one, commissioned by the UNDP, and is the product of a selected team of leading scholars, development practitioners and members of the Human Development Report office of the UNDP.
Meanwhile, a Pacific symposium on managing extractive industries in Pacific island states for improved human development will be held from March 18 to March 20 at Denarau in Nadi.
