THE Land Transport Authority says there is uniformity in the use of the Foneology e-ticketing consoles installed on buses in Fiji.
LTA spokesman Iliesa Sokia said people did not necessarily need a mobile phone to use the electronic ticketing device, therefore it was independent of mobile phones.
"LTA would like to clear the air that the e-ticketing device is not designed or made specifically for Vodafone customers only, but for all members of the general public including Digicel customers as well," he said.
