Update: 2:09PM A NEW leader has emerged in the Southern Snooker League competition.
Deepak J Ram had been leading the table for the past few weeks after winning round one and three until Jiten Prasad's victories in round four and five gave him the lead.
Prasad beat former national champion Viliame Umu in the final of round five of the Carz and Carz-sponsored tournament at Nausori last Sunday.
He received 60 points from the two wins which added to his 10 points for reaching the quarter-finals in round one and 15 points each for playing the semi-finals of round two.
He now sits on 100 points.
Ram drops to second spot on the table with 80 points.
