LAUTOKA'S joint top scorer, Ali Chigozie Anthony, will be the player to watch when the Sugar City side takes on the touring Amicale FC team in a friendly match at Churchill Park this evening.
Anthony has netted three goals in two appearances in the National Football League and is tied with Dave Radrigai as the Blues leading goal scorer.
But the Nigerian was red carded in the NFL match against Rewa last week, however, the send-off will not affect his availability for the friendly encounter.
Lautoka Football Association president Shalendra Prasad said they would be testing their combinations against the champion Vanuatu club.
Shamil Rao is expected to feature for Lautoka in both matches. Rao is back training for the Blues after a short stint in Brisbane, Australia.
Meanwhile, Lautoka has been boosted with a timely sponsorship for the remainder of the 2013 season. Design Engineering Fiji Limited has snapped up the naming rights for the Blues team.
The announcement was made during the LFA council meeting at Churchill Park on Wednesday.
Abdul Rafig Khaiyum, a former LFA vice president together with Bombay Trading Lautoka Limited managing director Nehal Patel, were endorsed by the council as vice presidents to fill in the vacant positions.
The term of all the current executives run until February 2015.
Prasad said they would be finalising the sponsorship details by the end of this week. He said the sponsorship launch would most likely be held at the Waterfront Hotel.
"The date for the sponsorship launch will be released soon," Prasad said.
