LET'S support the boys and not criticise them. Those were the words of former national sevens coach Josateki Savou as the Digicel Fiji 7s team prepares to defend the Hong Kong 7s title next week.
After a dismal performance at the Wellington and Las Vegas tournaments of the HSBC Sevens World Sevens, Savou said most fans have lost hope in the team.
He said the boys were representing Fiji and had sacrificed their time at training.
"This is our national team and we should support them," the former national rep said.
"We should not criticise them but give them our support when they go to Hong Kong.
"It is better that we do not criticise but turn up during their training sessions and support them. These players have sacrificed their time with families and close friends.
"And they are representing Fiji at international level, so we need to support them."
He wished the team a good performance at Happy Valley next weekend.
