FILIPINO boxer Rey Anton Olarte is back to settle the score after his last visit to Fiji ended in a soar note.
Olarte faces Opeti Tagi in the Naidiri Boxing Promotions program tomorrow to justify his claim of a hometown decision the last time he was here.
Flash back to July 26, 2010 at Prince Charles Park in Nadi. It was Olarte taking on Junior Farzan Ali in an 8x3 minute contest. The bout was the undercard to the Zulfikar Joy Ali versus Steve Heremaia 10-round clash.
When the final bell sounded, Olarte raised his hands claiming victory. However, to the visitor's surprise the judges recorded a split draw.
The 31-year-old, who arrived to replace an injured Junior Farzan, said he was back to prove a point.
"I'm hungry for the fight and I have been preparing for five weeks," Olarte said.
"The last time a hometown decision robbed me a chance of a win. So I want to prove my worth.
"I don't know much about my opponent but have been told that he is a good boxer. For the fans there will be something different when I enter the ring."
