FIVE Australian tertiary institutions will undertake an educational roadshow in Fiji between March 15 and 19 for senior secondary school students and others interested in further studies in Australia.
A statement said the roadshow would begin at the Holiday Inn in Suva tomorrow and Saturday before moving to the Waterfront Hotel in Lautoka on Monday, March 18, and Tokatoka Hotel in Nadi the next day.
Students, career teachers, parents and local educational institutions attending the roadshow will be provided information about courses on offer at Griffith University, Queensland University of Technology, University of New Castle, University of Canberra and Le Cordon Bleu Aust Pty Ltd.
AusAID officials would be on hand to provide information on scholarships. In addition to offering safe and vibrant learning environments close to Fiji, Australian educational institutions also provide graduates who are in demand by employers globally.
The proximity to Fiji of Australian tertiary institutions offering quality and well rounded education provides a platform for greater cultural understanding between the two countries and strengthens the people-to-people relationships.
