JUNIOR Naivogo's corner men are not making any predictions about his match with Junior Maku this Saturday.

The two boxers would meet in a 6x3 round supporting bout of the Naidiri Boxing Promotions event at Nadi's Prince Charles Park.

Naivogo's manager Chanchal Kumar Babba said they were looking forward to the fight.

He said they were not going to say much about what would happen in the fight.

"We are not going to say anything on the fight itself because Junior (Naivogo) would do his talking in the ring," Babba said.

"We don't want to make any predictions yet," he said.

He said the 24-year-old had been training daily for the past three months and was fit for the fight.

"We have seen how Junior Maku fights and we respect him as a fellow boxer and we look forward to the fight," Babba said.

Naivogo is the son of former national lightweight champion Ulaiasi Naivogo.

"His father has been training him for this fight and has been his main source of inspiration.

"He has fought seven fights in his career, won five — two by knockout and drawn one and lost one. This fight is a stepping stone for Naivogo," Babba said.
