THE Bright Smiles Bright Futures (BSBF) program was re-launched by Colgate-Palmolive on Monday.
The program, which is launched annually, is aimed at encouraging and educating children on good oral health habits.
Program co-ordinator Doctor Naina Kau said the re-launch had some new additions.
"We've decided to have more packs given out — one for each student and one for the presenter.
"We're also trying to get the teachers more involved this year," Dr Kau said.
The kids' packs include a toothbrush, informative stickers and pamphlets and toothpaste, while the presenters' packs have additional visual aids, an information CD and posters for schools.
Dr Kau said by providing teachers with packs, they would be able to continuously remind students about the need to maintain their oral health.
