Update: 8:54PM A BUS company servicing the Navua area will not operate in the district from tomorrow.
The Land Transport Authority has grounded the entire fleet of Maharaj Buses until investigations into the fire to one of the company's buses are completed.
At about 4.30pm yesterday, the company's bus carrying about 60 students caught fire near the junction to Deuba Village in Navua.
The students suffered minor injuries when they jumped out of the burning bus but most of them lost their school bags in the fire.
LTA spokesman Iliesa Sokia confirmed that the bus company had been grounded and Taunovo Bus Company would service routes that were serviced by Maharaj Buses in Navua.
