Fiji Sports Council chairman Peter Mazey said the new stadium could cater night games.

"These lights will brighten up the stadium. Last week we had a test and it was so amazing," he said.

"It is Philips brand and it is worth $4.6million.

"These are international standard lights and we are just hoping to finish off the construction in April."

Building Services Engineering Consultant Steve Waqanivavalagi said each light had more than 2000 watts with a total of 50 lights from each corner of the stadium.
