THE organisers of the Bula Fiji Tennis Classic cancelled the remaining games following rainy weather in Suva.
The annual event which featured four professional female tennis players from Australia and United States was being played at the Victoria Courts.
Karolina Wlodarczak, Roxanne Ellison, Sierra Ellison and Rachel Manasse who have featured in the World Tennis Association-sanctioned events were part of this year's tournament.
Tournament director Tony Morris said they would bring more professional players for next year's meet.
He said they would also partner with local stakeholders to market the tournament properly to ensure more locals were part of it in the coming years.
Australian Wlodarczak has won the tournament for the past two years.
