FOUR military personnel who were denied visas to compete in the 2013 ICC East Asia Pacific Men's Championship in New Zealand have been named in the 14-member side to the World Cricket League Division 7 Tournament in Botswana.
The tournament will be held from April 4 to 14 and national cricket coach Joeli Mateyawa said the four — Kitione Tavo, Sevunivola Baba, Jikoi Kida and Jone Seuvou — would add extra fire power in the batting and bowling aspects of the team.
"It's great to have the boys in the side, they bring a lot of energy and experience with them and I'm sure they'll do well when given the opportunity," he said.
