THE Security Forces women's side is out to prove this weekend that its qualification from last month's Vulaca Championship was not a fluke.
President of Security Forces Volleyball Association Viliame Waqavuka said they would treat each game as a final in the two-day tournament starting today at the FMF Gymnasium.
He said the team was making its first appearance in the tournament after 16 years.
"Like all other teams, we have prepared well and geared up for this tournament," Waqavuka said.
"We are not underestimating any team because all teams will come fully prepared in this tournament."
Waqavuka said he had included some new players apart from the team that featured at the Vulaca Championship. Teresia Vocevoce, who won the best female award at the Vulaca, will guide the young side this weekend.
"We have some good young players in the team whom I have included after the Vulaca Championships and they will be a surprise package this weekend."
The Security Forces is the second best seeded team in the Vanua Challenge and is pooled with USP One, Topline Two and JC Cuvu Blue.
